Gateway to Higher Education at CCNY.
Serving New York students since 1986.

Gateway to Higher Education at CCNY
is a New York State
STEP honors program.
The Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) is a New York State-funded initiative that aims to increase the number of historically economically disadvantaged students prepared for college and careers in STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—health-related fields, and licensed professions.
Gateway to Higher Education at CCNY provides academic enrichment courses, guidance, and activities in STEM content areas for eligible New York City students at participating high schools.
Parents and guardians are required to attend and participate in workshops and programming events, as well as join the Parent Involvement in Education (PIE) committee to help facilitate student success.
